Catch it early. Small steps now beat big repairs later
We hand you tools, not dependency care that outlasts sessions.
Wellbeing lives in relationships, so our care fits your world
JK Wellness & Consulting Inc. was founded by Jane, a Certified Health Education Specialist and Licensed Alcohol and Addiction Counselor (LADC) with over a decade of experience guiding individuals and organizations toward emotional resilience. Drawing on globally recognized frameworks including Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT) Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), HOPE, and Problem Management Plus (PM+). Jane built JK Wellness to meet a gap she saw firsthand: culturally responsive, accessible mental wellness support for communities in USA and Africa (Kenya). What began as a personal calling has grown into a practice rooted in compassionate courage where she helps people find the words, and the support, to heal.
Mental health educator, counsellor and organizational wellness consultant working across the United States and Kenya.
The strain is often the same. What helps depends on who is carrying it, and what they are responsible for.
Reaching out for support takes strength, not the absence of it. We offer a private, judgment-free space with a professional who understands your background and brings clinical training to the table. This isn't about replacing what already holds you up it's additional support, built around your life

Three commitments shape every session, workshop and consulting engagement we take on.
Methods with evidence behind them and practitioners with credentials behind them. Where something is outside our scope, we say so and refer.
The same programme lands differently in Boston and in Nairobi, in a boardroom and in a congregation. We adapt delivery without diluting the method.
Insight is not the outcome. You leave with techniques, language and next steps that survive contact with an ordinary week.
A short, no-cost call. You describe the situation; we say plainly whether we are the right people for it.
Programme, format, sessions, timeline and fee confirmed in writing before work starts.
Sessions, workshops or consulting work run to the agreed plan — in person in the USA or Kenya, or online.
You keep the materials and techniques. For organizations, we review what changed and what still needs attention.
The organizational wellness consulting gave our leadership real language and a real plan not a one-off workshop that gets forgotten by Monday. Turnover on our team has genuinely improved.
As a pastor, I'm always the one holding everyone else together. The HOPE training gave me tools for my community and, for the first time, permission to look after myself too.
Jane didn't just listen she gave me a way to understand what stress and grief were actually doing to me, and simple tools I still use months later. PM+ met me exactly where I was.
Yes. Counselling, coaching and most training sessions run online, which is how we keep a single practice working across the USA and Kenya. Workshops for organizations can be delivered in person in either country.
We provide counselling, structured psychological support programmes such as PM+, education and coaching. If you need psychiatric care, a formal diagnosis or crisis services, we will say so and help you find the right provider.
Often, yes. Organisational wellness consulting and workplace training are usually contracted and invoiced to the organisation, not the individual. Talk to us about a scope and we will quote it.
Client sessions are confidential, within the limits set by law and professional practice. Those limits are explained to you before a first session, not after.
Whether it's for yourself, your family, or your organization reach out and we'll help you find the right starting point. No pressure, no obligation, just a conversation
